To celebrate the end of YEASAYER'S US tour the team at Conan O'brien have asked them to perform the multi-platinum smash hit "2080" this Friday, March 15th on Late Night (12:30am Eastern). We are very excited about this, and now that the writer's strike is ending, we'll have even more reason to celebrate. Please tune your sets in late Friday night to the Irishman and four futuristic hunting beatsmen.

YEASAYER tour N. America and Europe and prep single and video!

Dear Friends and Lovers.

We are sitting here on the verge of the New Year and a positive spirit is abound. Camp YEASAYER have three wonderful announcements for you.

Phase one - Homeland Security:

Having shied away from the travels of North America for some time, we are proud to announce YEASAYER's first North American tour. After numerous trips to Europe and several ups and downs of the East Coast, YEASAYER are gearing up to join dear friends MGMT on a circle and a zigzag of both the United States and Canada.

I could drop press quotes and names of those who have praised the music of YEASAYER over the last few months, and believe me, it would be nice to toot our own horn after all the hard work we have put in...but friends, there is still more plowing ahead. Besides, we all know how to Google.

We know you are eager for new sounds, new spirits, and new revelations. We all need to jive, shimmy, and shake. Bring forth your boogie, brothers and sisters, YEASAYER and MGMT are coming to your town.

Phase two - Operation Free Pete:

After traversing the New World, YEASAYER are pleased to announce more European dates that include voyages to our long lost lovers in Norway and Sweden, charting new boundaries in France and Spain, and visiting dear old friends in the UK, Germany, and the Benelux.

Phase three - Post Holiday Days Present:

Currently hunched in the quarters of Moldy Jackson Room, YEASAYER are putting together a "single version" of an undisclosed album track for release in the first quarter of 2008. The single will be backed by a live favorite that has yet to hit tape under our control. Currently slated as a UK single, the track will also appear here and there in various forms for you to collect and listen.

More news from the Lodge soon(ish). Your distant palm reader.

Sir James Winnie

Hello everyone. We made an update to the tour dates. Yeasayer will not be playing Rough Trade on the 19th of November, and instead we've been asked to play Alexandra Palace with Arcade Fire. We are going to reschedule our show at Rough Trade in the near future, possibly next week. Please check here and the Rough Trade website for updates.

Allow me to catch my breath...

Who could of imagined? After hearing only 1.5 minutes of demo music we knew there was something special about YEASAYER, and after a year of very hard work, we can confirm that first impression. Today we are the proud parent of YEASAYER's debut "All Hour Cymbals," the most fascinating music we have heard in some time.

We are thrilled to finally release "All Hour Cymbals" to the world. We are happy to share our work over the last year. Our dedication. Our excitement.

This past week YEASAYER performed a series of shows across NYC during the CMJ music marathon. The energy of friends, crowds, and strangers was similar to mine over a year ago. I guess where I am going with this is that there is something exceptional happening here.

We'll have many links coming soon regarding YEASAYER'S CMJ week. If you would like to watch YEASAYER'S KEXP radio session during CMJ go here: NY Noise/KEXP

If you'd like to sample some tracks from "All Hour Cymbals" please go here:www.brightestyoungthings.com

If you could only see us gesticulate.

We are never idle. Though our web disquise may shift only slightly from time to time, it is only a facade. Be alarmed. Joyfully alarmed. Behind these walls and through these digital tubes breathes a coordinated effort to bring you the finest in audio entertainment. The WE ARE FREE group is only interested in the fresh, the radical, and those worthy enough to take a chance.

Though prematurely birthed on various tours in the US and UK, we are proud to announce the sale of the highly praised A/AA single by YEASAYER titled "2080/Sunrise." Yes, these tracks have been offered around the web for free, but this is the first time on the internet you can buy the single packaged together in this limited edition silk screened version. Only a few hundred exist in this form, accumulate while you can:

In other WE ARE FREE news:

RECORDING NEWS: Both PONYTAIL and INDIAN JEWELRY are gearing up to record their follow up full longers. PONYTAIL will bounce around the walls of the Magpie Cage in Batlimore City with J. Robbins at the helm. This is going to be a jubilant album filled with epic guitar jams, loco drumming, and of course the wonderful Molly squeals and squawks. Fuck sugar rushes, that doesn't even compare. INDIAN JEWELRY have acquired a sacred mechanism of sorts from your favorite hard rock counter and is preparing their lair in Houston, TX to record the follow up to their beautiful album "Invasive Exotics." We've heard teases and tiny tastes of what to come and it holds some promise.

Expect to see both the PONYTAIL and INDIAN JEWELRY albums in the first half of 2008 followed by some serious touring and menace.
